Duration: Seasonal Internship – 4 months
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Schedule: Primarily afternoons/evenings and weekends
Travel: Occasional travel required (no more than one overnight); mileage reimbursement provided.
Position Summary
We are seeking an outgoing, energetic, and dependable Event Promotions Intern to join our team for a seasonal opportunity! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, creating a fun atmosphere, and representing a brand in social environments. The intern will travel to various bars/restaurants and venue locations to host interactive games, engage customers, and ensure events are lively, organized, and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned bar/restaurant and event location to support promotional activities.
- Host and facilitate games and interactive activities for customers.
- Engage with guests in a professional, upbeat, and friendly manner.
- Maintain a high-energy atmosphere that enhances the customer experience.
- Set up and break down event materials and equipment as needed.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Provide feedback and event recaps to the Special Events Manager.
- Ensure events run smoothly and adhere to company standards
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating and engaging with people.
- Energetic, confident, and self-motivated.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Proof of personal vehicle insurance.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift and transport event materials as needed.
- Prior customer service, promotional, or event experience preferred but not required.
