Qualifications
- High School Diploma – experience preferred
- Computer skills
- Ability to work with students and meet their specific needs: emotional – social – academic – physical
- Ability to work with teachers and staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to supervise students using good judgment and school guidelines
- Ability to observe, assess, and problem solve
- Ability to work independently

Essential Job Functions
- Assist students with assignments and research
- Supervise and assist students
- Inter-library loans
- Catalog – process materials
- Work with volunteers
- Gather materials for librarian/teachers (research projects)
- Recess/cafeteria/class coverages
- Library circulation desk functions
- Clerical support – material preparation
Clearances required for employment:
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
Federal Criminal History Record Check (Act 114)
Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release: Unionville-Chadds Ford School District uses an online process for submission and processing of required Act 168 forms. Candidates will receive information as necessary during the selection process.
