Responsibilities:
- Security Patrol:
- Conduct regular patrols to deter and detect any potential security threats.
- Report any suspicious activities promptly.
- Access Control:
- Enforce access control measures to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire alarms, security breaches, or medical incidents.
- Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Risk Assessment:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving security measures.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with staff.
- Report incidents and provide detailed written reports as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid Level 3 Security Officer License.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education or training is a plus.
- Proven experience as an armed security officer, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform security-related tasks.
