Job Title: Bottling Line Filler Machine Operator
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Position Summary
The Bottling Line Filler Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of automated filling equipment used in the packaging of beverage products. This position ensures products are filled accurately, quality standards are maintained, production goals are achieved, and all food safety and workplace safety requirements are followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, adjust, and monitor bottling filler equipment during production runs.
- Verify product specifications including fill volumes, bottle sizes, closure types, and packaging requirements.
- Perform routine equipment inspections before, during, and after production.
- Monitor fill levels and make machine adjustments to maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance personnel when necessary.
- Conduct changeovers between products, bottle sizes, and packaging configurations.
- Complete required production documentation.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Assist with line startup, shutdown, cleaning, and sanitation activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with other bottling line personnel to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Quality Responsibilities
- Perform and document fill-weight/volume checks at required intervals.
- Inspect bottles, closures, labels, and finished goods for quality defects.
- Report quality concerns immediately to supervision.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate equipment safely and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Participate in safety training and safety improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing or packaging equipment preferred.
- Experience in beverage, food, spirits, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand production schedules, SOPs, and quality documents.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
