Cleaning Specialist I
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Bozeman, MT
Pay: $23–$25/hour (based on experience)
Hours: 25–40 per week | Full-time/Flexible | Some evenings, days, and weekends required depending on job schedules.

Position Overview
The Cleaning Specialist I is a hands-on, adaptable role that supports a wide range of residential and commercial cleaning projects. This position works closely with other team members to deliver consistent, high-quality results across multiple job sites. The Cleaning Specialist I brings attention to detail to a wide array of cleaning techniques, delivering thorough top-to-bottom cleaning service for commercial and residential buildings.
This role requires travel between sites using a personal vehicle and occasional out-of-town projects, with openness to carpooling when applicable.
Cleaning Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning across commercial, residential, construction, move-out, and specialty projects. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and stairs.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
- Clean sinks, countertops, appliances, break rooms, and common areas.
- Dust, wipe, and detail offices, furniture, walls, windowsills, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, handrails, elevator buttons, and shared equipment.
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and restock supplies as needed.
- Perform heavy cleaning, detailed work, and special projects as assigned.
- Assist with job setup, breakdown, and transitions between sites.
Equipment and Supplies:
- Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment including vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor machines, and other tools.
- Properly label, dilute, and use cleaning chemicals according to company and safety standards.
- Monitor supply levels and report equipment repair needs promptly.
Teamwork, Travel, and Support:
- Travel between job sites using a personal vehicle.
- Occasionally travel to out-of-town sites, with openness to carpooling when needed.
- Work independently or collaboratively with team members.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in general, construction, move-out, or specialty cleaning
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality results
- Excellent communication skills with coworkers, clients, and management team
- Comfortable adapting to changing job sites, priorities, and schedules
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive movements
