Job Description (Overview)
We are seeking an experienced Door and Window installer to join our production team. In this role you will be responsible for the precise installation of high quality products in varying applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Removal and replacement of retro-fit and new construction exterior and interior doors (to include new trim and paint touch up)
- Removal and replacement of retro-fit and new construction windows and sliding glass doors (to include new trim and paint touch up)
- Re-measure new projects for door and window replacement as needed
- Apply caulking, weatherproofing materials, and sealants to prevent air or water leaks around installed units.
- Have knowledge of all hand and power tools to complete above projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenges on the job during installation, communicating with other departments of job status
- Keep a clean and safe work area at all times
Qualifications and Requirement
- 1-3 years of work experience in related trades, including general construction or specialized installation of doors and windows
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Possession of hand and power tools
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding
- Hold a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to work
- Have a clear driving record
- Have a strong attention to detail, positive attitude and teamworking skills
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
