Position Overview
As a PRN Speech Therapist, you will evaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients in a home health setting to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
We have immediate patient needs across Houston and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients’ homes
- Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky/Kinnser EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
Requirements
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Current CPR Certification
- Home Health experience preferred
- Experience with WellSky/Kinnser EMR is a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
