Unlike many traditional banks, PBTB offers broker-style flexibility. Our team can access multiple approved wholesale lenders and loan programs, allowing us to find competitive options instead of being limited to only one bank’s products.
A Faster Path into Mortgage Lending
Eligible employees may become federally registered Mortgage Loan Originators through the NMLS without passing the traditional state SAFE licensing exam. Employment, training, background, registration, and company requirements still apply.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls and follow up with company-provided leads
- Identify potential purchase and refinance opportunities
- Schedule appointments and transfer qualified consumers to registered Loan Officers
- Help borrowers begin the mortgage application process
- Maintain accurate notes and manage ongoing follow-ups
- Participate in sales training, coaching, and call reviews
- Learn mortgage programs, guidelines, and the loan process
Until properly registered and authorized, activities requiring MLO authority will be handled by an appropriately registered Loan Officer.

Sales, customer service, call-center, automotive, insurance, collections, or telemarketing experience is preferred but not required.
