Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at Five Star Cleaners you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. You will handle customer inquiries, manage orders, and ensure that each client receives exceptional service. Your role will involve coordinating with other team members to ensure that all services are delivered accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Order Management: Receive and process incoming orders for dry cleaning and laundry services. Accurately label and track items, ensuring proper handling and timely completion.
- Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide accurate receipts. Manage and reconcile daily sales and transactions.
- Quality Control: Inspect garments and other items for damage, stains, or special handling requirements. Communicate any issues with customers and provide appropriate solutions.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and materials. Notify management of any inventory needs or discrepancies.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and service history. Assist with filing and other administrative duties as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store. Provide support during busy periods and collaborate on special projects or promotions.
- Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers. Encourage repeat business by providing excellent service and personalized attention.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the dry cleaning or retail industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
