Position Summary
We're seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician to lead restoration crews, oversee emergency mitigation projects, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others, embraces technology, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency water, mold, and mitigation losses.
- Lead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial projects.
- Set up jobs, assign work, and oversee quality throughout each project.
- Complete detailed documentation, photos, moisture readings, and daily job notes using company software.
- Work closely with estimators by providing complete and accurate job documentation.
- Train and mentor technicians while promoting a safe work environment.
- Build trust with customers by providing compassionate, professional service during stressful situations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of water mitigation or restoration experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or crew management experience.
- IICRC WRT Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification with company sponsorship).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using technology, mobile devices, and restoration software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and participate in an emergency on-call schedule.
