About Aerolot
Aerolot is building the next-generation operating system for independent automotive dealerships.
Today's dealerships rely on a collection of disconnected software—dealer management systems, CRMs, desking tools, spreadsheets, texting platforms, and paper processes. Aerolot brings everything together into one AI-native platform that manages inventory, sales, financing, compliance, messaging, and dealership operations.
Our platform is already approximately ~75% complete and preparing for pilot dealerships. This internship is an opportunity to work on a real production SaaS application that will be used by real customers—not classroom exercises or internal demo projects.
The Opportunity
We're looking for two ambitious software engineering interns who love building things.
You'll work directly with the founder on shipping production software, building AI-powered features, improving quality, and helping launch a modern SaaS platform. You'll have meaningful ownership and the opportunity to contribute across the entire product.
This is the kind of internship where you'll make decisions, solve real engineering problems, and see your work deployed—not spend your summer fixing documentation.
What You'll Work On
Depending on your strengths and interests, you'll contribute to areas such as:
- Building new product features
- AI-powered workflow automation
- AI agent development and prompt engineering
- Frontend and backend development
- API integrations
- Testing and quality assurance
- Bug fixing and performance improvements
- Production debugging
- Automation tools for internal workflows
- Improving developer tooling and engineering processes

Who We're Looking For
We're less interested in your GPA than what you've actually built.
Ideal candidates are:
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate Computer Science students (or equivalent experience)
- Passionate about software engineering and AI
- Comfortable learning new technologies quickly
- Curious, self-motivated, and eager to solve difficult problems
- Excited about working in an early-stage startup
Experience with our exact technology stack is a bonus, but not required.
