The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and negotiating contracts that align with our company’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business relationships through thoughtful and strategic networking, client visits, and proactive outreach.
- Apply a relationship-focused sales approach to build and grow a book of business with vendor companies.
- Stay informed on industry trends and leverage insights to support business growth.
- Generate and manage sales opportunities through research, prospecting, and marketing-generated leads.
- Oversee the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, evaluating, and onboarding professionals to meet organizational needs.
- Build and implement strategies for maintaining a pipeline of top-tier talent.
- Foster a calm, productive, and inclusive work environment.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely, accurate handling of employee compensation.
- Formulate and oversee the implementation of training curricula to enhance team capabilities and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor and analyze financial processes, including invoicing and collections, to ensure smooth cash flow.
- Generate sales projections and business reports to guide decision-making.
- Continuously engage in professional learning opportunities to build foundational recruitment and leadership skills.
- Actively promote and embody MarciSwim’s core values, vision, and high-performance standards.
Qualifications
Education:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is preferred, especially in areas such as Business Development, Organizational Leadership, or related disciplines.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, direct sales, or a similar role, with a proven ability to identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing hiring processes, payroll management, and team leadership is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a calm and composed demeanor.
- Strong ability to cultivate and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficient in payroll systems, CRM tools, and other business software.
Leadership:
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to lead teams and projects effectively.
- Skilled in creating and implementing structured training programs and curricula.
Mindset:
