Responsibilities

- Manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state-specific education laws and healthcare regulations.
- Oversee staffing, staff supervision, and personnel management in education and clinical settings to maintain high-quality patient care and staff engagement.
- Develop and monitor the departmental budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Lead organizational efforts in quality assurance, patient safety initiatives, and accreditation processes to uphold excellence in care delivery.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape organizational strategies, promote innovation, and enhance service offerings.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective team management, instructional leadership in education, and ongoing staff development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to healthcare education standards and state-specific licensing laws for nursing professionals.
Skills
- Proven expertise in strategic planning, organizational management, and budget oversight within healthcare or educational settings.
- Strong management skills with 3+ years' experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Deep understanding of state-specific education laws applicable to healthcare training programs.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in skilled nursing facilities.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Demonstrated leadership in academic or clinical instruction, with a focus on continuous improvement, staff mentorship and strong teamwork.
- Excellent organization and communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments and with external regulatory bodies.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Experience in personnel management within educational or healthcare organizations, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
