Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and friendly experience
- Manage reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms, updating guest records accurately
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and problem-solving skills to enhance guest satisfaction
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and billing discrepancies
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to ensure operational accuracy and accountability
- Monitor security protocols by conducting CCTV surveillance, property inspections, and emergency response procedures in accordance with hotel policies
- Communicate effectively via phone and in person with guests, staff, and emergency responders using proper phone etiquette and customer service techniques
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or comparable property management software is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and property management systems (PMS) is advantageous
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging with diverse clientele effectively
- Experience working night shifts in a hospitality setting demonstrates reliability and adaptability in a 24/7 environment
