Behavior Techs are individuals who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee. May also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. Deescalating and rerouting behaviors. Collecting and reporting data daily on behaviors.
Minimum Requirements: - Current CPR if applicable- HS Diploma required- Experience working in childcare, schools, caregiving with individuals with special/behavioral needs- Data collection or ABA Therapy- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable - Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) - Must meet all federal, state and local requirements - Must be 18 years old
