Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Craftsman to perform diverse hands-on maintenance, remodeling, and repair work across multiple properties. In this role, you will bring your technical expertise to various trade specialties—including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall—ensuring all repairs and physical tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This hands-on position is perfect for experienced professionals eager to apply their trade skills daily in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily hands-on maintenance and repair tasks on job sites, ensuring personal and site safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Execute multiple trade activities including basic plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, framing, trim carpentry, roofing repairs, masonry work, drywall installation, concrete finishing, and tile laying.
- Review construction plans, sketches, and work orders to ensure accurate execution of all physical tasks.
- Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and relevant equipment required for fabrication and property repairs.
- Ensure all executed work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
- Install materials such as glass, door hanging hardware, flooring, and stucco or plastering components.
- Perform physical troubleshooting for on-site challenges related to property restoration, remodeling, and hardscape installations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience as a craftsman, handyman, or trade specialist.
- Demonstrated proficiency across multiple trades, including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, masonry, concrete finishing, tile laying, drywall installation, carpentry, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret basic layout plans and instructions for remodeling and repair projects.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship in restoration and repair work.
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with the Maintenance Director, property team, and tenants regarding task completion.
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
