Position: Policy Service Technician Department: Service Center
Reports To: Operations Supervisor
Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Underwriting Department by rating and issuing accurate policies.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Using multiple systems and resources, accurately rate and issue New Business submissions within company standards
- Using multiple systems and resources, accurately rate and issue Renewal business within company standards
- Request updated renewal information from agents/brokers
- Accurately process endorsements within your authority following company standards
- Accurately issue Surety Bonds as instructed
- Responsible for processing premium audit results
- Conditional & Non Renewals completed as per Underwriter instructions
- Efficiently and accurately organize information within ImageRight
- Provide "Certified" copies of policies when requested
- Provide backup support to other Policy Service Technicians to ensure standards are met by the entire department
- Work effectively with Customer Service Representatives
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must obtain Property & Casualty Agent's license within 6 months
- Proficiency in Microsoft software required
- Comfortable working in paperless environment
- Strong oral and written communication
- Ability to work in fast paced and priority changing environment
- Ability to work through difficult situations with customers
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively by telephone
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and to move intermittently throughout the workday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Property & Casualty Insurance : 3 years (Preferred)
- Underwriting Support: 3 years (Preferred)
- Commercial Insurance: 3 years (Preferred)
