Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible Day or Afternoon Shift (4 hours/day)
Pay Rate: $48–$58 per hour
Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. This flexible, part-time opportunity is ideal for a professional who is passionate about helping residents regain communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized speech-language pathology and audiology treatment programs in accordance with physician orders and ASHA guidelines
Monitor resident progress and communicate outcomes to the Rehabilitation Director, supporting continuous improvement
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, billing, and coding practices
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including health inspections, OSHA, and infection control protocols
Supervise support staff and foster a collaborative, respectful work environment
Maintain, clean, and ensure proper use of all therapy equipment
Participate in facility safety programs, emergency preparedness, and required trainings
Build strong, professional relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Promote a safe, positive environment focused on quality care and resident well-being
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to SLP services
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
