We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Residential Outside Sales/Estimator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their project needs, preferences, and budget expectations through energetic and professional communication.
- Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to accurately interpret project scope and material requirements.
- Prepare detailed estimates by analyzing blueprints, managing project budgets, and estimating material quantities using tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure projects that align with company standards and profitability goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, review construction drawings on-site, and verify project feasibility before proposal submission.
- Oversee cost control measures throughout project execution to maintain budget integrity while managing project timelines effectively.
- Collaborate closely with project management teams to ensure seamless communication from initial estimate through project completion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating or managing projects as a construction estimator within the residential sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawing review, interpreting technical drawings, and estimating material requirements from blueprints.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Xactimate, along with a solid understanding of construction management principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Familiarity with contracts, project management processes, cost management strategies, and estimating construction project budgets.
- Hands-on construction site experience demonstrating a practical understanding of on-the-ground realities of residential projects.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills complemented by a proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
