Are you an experienced Customs Entry Writer looking to join a growing freight forwarding team? We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong customs compliance knowledge and hands-on experience handling import entries across air, ocean, and truck freight.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and process customs entries for air, ocean, and truck import shipments.
- Ensure timely customs clearance while maintaining compliance with CBP regulations.
- Handle FDA-regulated shipments, including food, cosmetics, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.
- Coordinate with customers, customs brokers, carriers, and government agencies.
- Review shipping documentation and resolve customs-related issues.
- Process entries accurately using CargoWise.
Must-Have Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of Customs Entry Writing experience
- CargoWise proficiency (required)
- Hands-on experience with FDA entries, including:
- Food
- Cosmetics
- Medical Devices
- Pharmaceuticals
- Experience processing entries for air, ocean, and truck imports
- Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations and import compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional Partner Government Agencies (PGAs):
- USDA
- CPSC
- NHTSA/DOT
- EPA
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is a strong plus
