Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Innkeeper to lead the daily operations of our award-winning 10-room, Bed & Breakfast Inn located in Bardstown, KY. As the heart of guest experience, the Innkeeper will oversee all aspects of hospitality management, ensuring every visitor enjoys a memorable stay. This role combines leadership, customer service excellence, and operational oversight to create a welcoming environment that exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, hospitality expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest relations in a lively, fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Manage the overall daily operations of the inn, including front desk activities, guest services, and housekeeping coordination
- Supervise staff members, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high standards of hospitality and service delivery
- Oversee reservation management, check-in/check-out procedures, and guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Handle revenue management tasks such as budgeting, pricing strategies, and maximizing occupancy rates
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and human resources standards
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Possess good phone etiquette to assist guests and coordinate services effectively
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality roles with supervising responsibilities
- Strong background in revenue management, budgeting, and human resources within a resort or hotel environment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams in hospitality settings
- Knowledge of front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette
- Familiarity with hotel experience software systems and guest relations management tools
- Ability to manage night audits and perform administrative duties efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per day
