ACAC Kids Assistant Director

Preschool Age focus

Summary

Provide leadership within ACAC Kids by shepherding kids through relational discipleship and gospel fluency and creating worship environments that help kids grow in resilient faith and active participation in the life and mission of the church.

Responsibilities

Provide intentional leadership for Preschool age kids (ages 2-5) cultivating environments where kids encounter Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and grow as disciples.

Assist the Kids Director in shaping and implementing the overall discipleship strategy for Kids Ministries, with a primary focus on Preschool kids.

Assist the Kids team in the planning and execution of Kids gatherings, including Sunday, midweek, and outreach initiatives.

Develop and facilitate engaging teaching environments, small groups, and discipleship experiences that help kids understand and apply Scripture in everyday life.

Build strong, consistent relationships with kids and parents, fostering trust, communication, and spiritual guidance.

Identify and cultivate an understanding of serving in the kids’ lives so they can grow in the life of the Church, the community, and the broader mission of ACAC.

Recruit, train, and disciple youth and adult leaders, building sustainable teams that lead ministry in Kids gatherings and ministry events.

Participate in and earn certification with State Food Program training; Serve as staff monitor as needed.

Collaborate closely with the Kids ministry staff and volunteers to ensure alignment across ministry environments, events, and discipleship initiatives.
