We are looking for an individual with an adaptable skill-set; cutting, building, construction experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proficient in the operation of power saws, nail guns and working with wood
- Must be able to read cut list, tape measures and calculate measurements
- Cut wood with various power saws
- Assemble wood boxes, crates and pallets using screws, and nail guns.
- Read blueprints
- Must be available to work overtime as needed
Job Requirements/Duties:
- Crating experience is a plus
- Must be familiar with table top saws, panel saws, nail guns, and packaging
- The ability to perform basic computations using fractions is necessary
- Proficient in the operation of power saws, nail guns and working with wood
- Reading measuring tape, cut sheet instructions, operating power equipment, being aware of everyone and everything around in a shop/warehouse environment
- Organization and communication skills
- Quality, safety minded, reliable, precise and self-motivated
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Able to work in a team environment with a diverse workforce
- Must be able to follow all safety rules
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50-60lbs, lift and carry sheets of plywood that are 4'x8', stand, walking, kneeling, reaching.
