Physicians Hearing Solutions is owned and operated by physicians and is located within an ENT practice. We provide ongoing hearing care to our ENT patients. Our specialists focus on overall hearing health, from thorough evaluations and personalized fittings to regular checkups, cleanings, and adjustments. We are seeking an experienced dispensing AuD or RI State licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist to work in our Warwick, RI location.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
· Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid Consultations and fitting for clients.
· Evaluation of test results in conjunction with the client’s needs and offer recommendations based on maximizing the clients’ benefits.
· Orders products, programs, and fits premium digital hearing aids.
· Performs outcome measures for fitting verification- performs verification measurements to confirm accurate fitting.
· Perform routine follow-ups, maintenance and hearing aid repairs. Maintain skills in ear impression taking, earmold modifications and recommendations of ALD devices.
· Engage in continued professional development to maintain expertise in all aspects of service delivery from consultative counseling to selling, fitting, and troubleshooting of current hearing aid technology.
· Attend trainings on new and upcoming products/programming changes in the industry as well as webinars to continue growth and knowledge in the field.
· Comply with all state license laws, FDA guidelines.
· Operates in a HIPAA compliant manner, with documentation, outcome notes and referrals completed for all clients.
Requirements
· 1-5 year experience in an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist Role
· Hold an active state license in Audiology or hearing aid dispensing
· Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
· Ability to communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately and concisely.
· Ability to work accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to perform as a team member working closely with Physicians and providers in regard to maintaining the best level of care for our clients.
