2026–2027 School Year
Position Title: Three-Year-Old Teacher
Location: Heart Dream Christian Academy
Compensation: $400 per week
Benefits: Paid school breaks and summer break
Position Summary
Heart Dream Christian Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and Christ-centered Three-Year-Old Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. The teacher will support the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development of each child while incorporating Christian values and biblical principles throughout the day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a positive, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
- Plan and implement daily lessons and activities for three-year-old children.
- Teach age-appropriate skills including early literacy, math readiness, colors, shapes, numbers, and social skills.
- Incorporate Bible lessons, prayer, worship, and Christian character development into daily instruction.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and learning centers.
- Monitor and document student progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth, behavior, and classroom activities.
- Assist children with daily routines, including restroom breaks, handwashing, meals, and transitions.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
- Follow all state licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and academy policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively with children, families, and staff.
- Must pass all required background checks.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to bend, kneel, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children.
- Ability to supervise children indoors and outdoors.
Work Schedule
The Three-Year-Old Teacher will work during the 2026–2027 school year according to the Heart Dream Christian Academy calendar. School holidays, scheduled breaks, and summer break are paid.
