This position is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, directing, budgeting and overseeing operations and evaluating aquatic programs in accordance with the mission, policies, purposes and procedures of the association. Additional responsibilities include recruiting, orientating, training and supervising staff, coordinating swim lessons, aquatics classes, managing several aquatic pools/facilities. Must have strong communication and organization skills and management experience. This position shall work within the aquatic and safety policies, regulations and reporting guidelines.
Required work experience includes: 3-5 years in pool operations and management, CPO, Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid Instructor certification required. Must be able to pass drug & background screening. Must be available to work extended hours, evenings and weekends. Must be available to work hours extended summer hours.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher
