We're seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role is essential in preventing the spread of infection and ensuring the facility remains sanitary and well-maintained.
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, public areas, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
- Remove trash and replace waste receptacle liners
- Clean furniture, fixtures, windows, vents, and equipment
- Change bed linens and replenish room supplies as needed
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
- Follow OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, and facility safety guidelines
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
- Minimum 1 year of environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or related experience
- High School Diploma/GED, related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to read and write English to understand instructions and chemical labels
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
