Swimming Pool Technician

Responsibilities
- Install swimming pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, and lighting.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, equipment, and circulation issues.
- Perform equipment upgrades and replacements.
- Pressure test plumbing and assist with leak detection.
- Install and repair PVC plumbing and valves.
- Start up newly constructed pools and ensure proper equipment operation.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry during startups and service visits.
- Perform warranty and service repairs.
- Educate customers on equipment operation and basic pool maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and accurately complete service reports.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Experience in the swimming pool industry preferred.
- Mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, or construction experience is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.

- Pool equipment installation

- Automation systems (Pentair, Hayward, Jandy)
- Heater installation and repair
- Leak detection
- PVC plumbing
- Electrical troubleshooting (low voltage)
- Concrete, tile, or coping experience is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
