Summary
We are seeking a passionate Barista to join our team at Damascus Falafel. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of delivering delicious food and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking orders accurately.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Manage cash register operations using Aloha POS system efficiently.
- Handle food safely according to health regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a barista or food service role is required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
