Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our bar operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food and beverage industry and are eager to learn and grow within the hospitality sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware as needed throughout shifts.
- Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
- Support the kitchen staff during busy periods by assisting with food service and handling food items safely.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service excellence is highly valued.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Knowledge of basic bar operations or food handling practices is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
