Join our dynamic team as a Local Delivery Driver/Hardware Installer, where you'll enjoy the comfort of being home daily while operating a company-provided vehicle and tools. This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy driving and using their hands. You'll be responsible for safely transporting hardware to new home builders, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing friendly, professional service to our customers. You'll also be responsible for small hardware installs like installing door knobs, locks, bath hardware along with rekey services.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van or similar vehicle to deliver products to residential and commercial locations within your local area
- Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery of items by following designated routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management or stock movement when required
- Assist with clean up and service orders like installing door knobs, bath hardware or performing rekey services in the field
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Prior delivery driver experience is highly desirable, especially with vans or similar vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and perform manual lifting tasks safely
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to safety standards
- Experience with tools a major plus.

Due to insurance requirements you must be 21 or older. We will ask you to complete an MVR prior to interviewing to ensure your driving record is clean and you are insurable through our company insurance.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
