Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Independent Courier Driver, SLG is actively hiring reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to service routes throughout the Houston Metropolitan Area. Routes are available seven (7) days per week, Monday through Sunday, and we are seeking drivers who are available to work weekends as needed.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position for individuals who enjoy working independently, staying active, and providing excellent customer service while delivering packages safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver assigned packages within designated service areas
- Complete approximately 100–120 deliveries per day
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Use a smartphone app to manage deliveries and route updates
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers
- Ensure accurate and timely package delivery
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle( any type)
- Current vehicle registration
- Active auto insurance
- Smartphone with data plan
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 10 lbs
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
- Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
- Weekend availability required
Independent Contractor Notice
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position and not a W-2 employee position. Independent contractors are responsible for:
- Vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Fuel and operating expenses
- Auto insurance coverage
- Federal, state, and self-employment taxes
Any other business-related expenses associated with operating their vehicle

Pay: $150.00 per day
