Many shifts, hours and flexibilities are available.
North Fork/South Fork (CLC 1 & CLC 2) - long term care geriatric units. Veterans have multiple co-morbidities; require assistance with daily activities.
The Island (CLC 3) - geriatric psych population/locked unit. Veterans have multiple co-morbidities; require assistance with daily activities.
The Lighthouse (CLC4) - mixed population. Veterans need sub-acute rehabilitation services or are receiving palliative care and multiple co-morbidities and require assistance with daily activities.

- You must be a Citizen of the United States
- Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State [ ] agency and/or [accredited by] the National League for Nursing [Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)] at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
- Full, active, current and unrestricted licensure as a [ ] licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia.
- All applicants must meet physical requirements for this position.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English in accordance with VA Handbook 5005, part II, chapter 3, section A, paragraph 3j.
The grades at which you could qualify at range from a GS 3 to a GS 6.
