Customer Service and Office Assistant
Location: Miami, FL 33166
Job Type: Full-time | In person
At Aquarium Marketing, we design, build, install, and maintain custom aquariums for residential and commercial clients across South Florida. We're looking for a friendly, professional Customer Service and Office Assistant to be the voice of our company and the main point of contact for our clients.
This is a customer-first role. Your main job is to keep our clients happy, informed, and well taken care of — answering questions, resolving concerns, following up, and making every interaction a great one. You'll also help grow the business by recommending our products and services, earning commission on your sales.
What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for clients by phone, email, and text — always with a warm, professional, helpful tone.
- Answer questions, resolve concerns, and follow up to make sure every client is fully satisfied.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with our customers.
- Recommend and sell our aquarium products, services, and maintenance plans — and earn commission on what you sell.
- Handle billing and collections — create invoices, process client payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Keep accurate, organized records and support basic bookkeeping/accounting tasks.
- In the mornings, help make sure our technicians have everything they need for their service visits — supplies, equipment, and information ready to go before they head out.
- Coordinate service requests and support day-to-day operations (our routing/logistics is largely automated, so your focus stays on the customer).
- Share customer feedback with management to help us keep improving.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working at a service company (field service, maintenance, home services, or dispatch/operations) — not retail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills — you genuinely enjoy helping clients.
- Experience with billing and collections — invoicing, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge.
- Experience with logistics or service-operations coordination.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable recommending products/services and closing sales.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay.
- Sales commission on the products and services you sell.
- Paid time off.
- Professional development and growth opportunities.
- A supportive, respectful team that cares about aquatic life and customer satisfaction.
