How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Requirements:

Must have 2+ years of Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience

Must have 2+ years of Security Experience
-
Must have a valid drivers license in accordance with Allied Universal Policy Requirements.
What You'll Do:
-
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying permitted access, and reporting unusual behavior.

Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with de-escalation, directing foot traffic, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, and emergency personnel as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
