Hilton Head PSD has an opening for a Reverse Osmosis (RO) & Water Treatment Technician to work in the operation, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of its RO Water Treatment Plant, potable water wells, and related water system infrastructure. Position requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to read and understand operating procedures, technical manuals, work orders, and SCADA data. Successful applicant will have a minimum five years’ experience. Must be able to work after hours and weekends on a rotating basis for system monitoring, emergency response, and operational support. South Carolina Water Treatment Operator licensure, or transferrable licensure, preferred.
