The Civic Circle seeks part-time teachers interested in gaining classroom experience as in one or more after-school workshops with students in Grades 3-5 and 6-8 in Fall, 2026. These are fun, paid positions that give you field work experience. Teachers will supervise weekly, after-school sessions on the topic of democracy, service-learning and civic skills, using Civic Circle lesson plans that emphasize music, the arts, and performance-based learning. A brief virtual orientation will precede the workshops. This is a great opportunity for student teachers who would like to develop their classroom skills in a real-world setting, or for part-time teachers of any age. Please contact [email protected].
