Responsibilities
- Assist with various construction tasks including framing, drywall, roofing, and concrete work to support project timelines.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned duties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements.
- Support skilled trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing trades like painting and tile laying.
- Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, barricades, and safety equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols during construction activities.
- Collaborate with team members on heavy equipment operation, fabrication tasks, and restoration projects to ensure seamless workflow.
Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment operation.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus.
- Exposure to diverse trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry (concrete forming, stucco), roofing, or flooring installation enhances your candidacy.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining safety standards at all times.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
