Provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the College’s district-wide budget development and procurement functions. In addition, in consultation with the Vice Chancellor, Finance, long-range financial planning. The position is responsible for integrating financial planning, resource allocation, and procurement strategies to support institutional priorities, operational effectiveness, and long-term financial sustainability.
This role leads the annual operating and capital budget processes and in conjunction with the Vice Chancellor, Finance/CFO multi-year financial forecasting, and scenario modeling while overseeing procurement policies, contract administration, and vendor management. The Executive Director works closely with the Vice Chancellor, Finance, Controller, Manager, Accounts Payable, and campus leadership to ensure clear role delineation between financial planning, budget execution, and purchasing.
- This position is pending final approval by the Board of Trustees and is anticipated to begin on July 1, 2026, at the start of fiscal year 2027. Accordingly, selected candidates will not begin employment prior to July 1, 2026.
