We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our operations and drive growth at our branch location.
Position Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the branch, including sales growth, inventory management, customer service, employee leadership, purchasing, and financial performance. This position requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage day-to-day operations while building strong customer relationships and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and controls.
- Oversee receiving, stocking, and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Ensure inventory is managed efficiently to meet customer demand.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility.
Sales & Customer Development
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
- Partner with the sales team to achieve revenue and gross profit goals.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Leadership & Employee Development
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop branch employees.
- Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
- Manage employee scheduling and performance expectations.
- Foster a culture of safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.
Financial Management
- Manage branch profit and loss (P&L) performance.
- Control operating expenses and maximize profitability.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates to leadership.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Promote workplace safety and enforce safe operating practices.
- Maintain accurate operational and financial records.
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing inventory, operations, and customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings and company events.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Experience in batteries, automotive parts, industrial distribution, or other durable goods industries.
- NetSuite ERP experience.
- Auto parts or wholesale distribution experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate forklifts and company vehicles safely.
- Frequent walking, standing, and movement throughout the facility.
