Position Summary
The Citation Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on Cessna Citation series aircraft. This role ensures all work is completed in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company standards while maintaining a strong safety culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance & Inspections
- Perform maintenance and inspections on Cessna Citation aircraft (500/550/560/525 series as applicable)
- Conduct Phase inspections and scheduled maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engines, electrical, and environmental systems
- Perform engine runs and operational checks as authorized
- Assist with major inspection events
Troubleshooting & Technical Work
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical discrepancies
- Interpret maintenance manuals and wiring diagrams
- Support AOG events as required
- Coordinate with DOM and Maintenance Control
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete logbook entries in compliance with 14 CFR Part 43
- Ensure compliance with Parts 135 and 91 (as applicable)
- Verify proper parts traceability
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
Safety & Quality
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA standards
- Maintain tool control discipline
- Keep work areas clean and organized

Qualifications Required:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- 3+ years Citation maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Phase inspection experience
- Corporate or Part 135 background
- Engine run qualified
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance)
- Work in hangar and ramp environments
- Occasional nights/weekends as required
