Woodhaven Nursing & Memory Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our evening shift. We are a small, private, homelike nursing home located along Highway 460 in the Montvale / Blue Ridge area. Our low resident-to-CNA ratios allow staff to build meaningful relationships with residents and provide attentive, high-quality care. We also serve residents with mental health diagnoses.
Responsibilities
· Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and comfort needs.
· Provide care in a respectful, patient, and compassionate manner.
· Support residents with mental health diagnoses using calm, professional communication.
· Communicate resident needs or changes to nursing staff.
Requirements
· Active CNA certification in Virginia.
· Reliable attendance and punctuality.
· Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
· Comfort working with residents who may have mental health diagnoses.
· High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
