Inductotherm Corp. has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician!
Job Summary:
Inductotherm is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers by performing equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires frequent domestic travel and hands-on technical work with induction heating systems and related equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Install, maintain, and troubleshoot induction heating equipment, including power supplies, hydraulic systems, cooling water systems, and charging systems.
· Travel to customer sites nationwide to support field service activities – 90% of the time.
· Communicate daily with internal teams regarding job progress and status.
· Complete required documentation and reports accurately and on time.
· Work independently while following company procedures and safety guidelines.
· Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and piping schematics.
· Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
· Working knowledge of fundamental electrical principles (Ohm’s Law, KCL, KVL, reactance, resonance).
· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Experience with high-voltage or high-power electrical systems preferred.
· Ability to produce hand-drawn measurements for fabrication is a plus.
· Have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally is a plus.
· Foreign language skills a plus.
Education and Experience:
· Associate’s degree in a STEM field
· Technical certification
· 3 years’ relevant experience, bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
· Ability to follow all safety requirements, including use of PPE
· Ability to work in hot, cold, and industrial environments
· Ability to stand for extended periods and climb into confined or elevated spaces
· Ability to travel on short notice using air, rail, or ground transportation
· Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
· Must have a valid driver's license, and ability to travel domestically.
· Professional appearance and conduct
· Able to work any shift.
· Must be able to travel on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircrafts, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.
· Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.

Salary:
Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications.
Salary Range: $5,400.00 - $7,000.00/month
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
