Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Tow Truck Operator to join our dynamic roadside assistance team. Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and hook-and-chain models, to recover and transport vehicles safely
- Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring secure transportation while adhering to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients during roadside assistance or vehicle pickup
- Manage conflict situations professionally, resolving issues calmly while maintaining a positive attitude
- Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment, to ensure operational readiness
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and service reports for record-keeping and compliance
Skills
- Strong automotive diagnostics skills combined with mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience preferred
- Hands-on experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management professionally
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures ensuring safety during vehicle handling
