Job Summary:
Primarily responsible for floor buffing and burnishing; also responsible for performing daily Housekeeping duties inside and outside Facility; completes work assignments according to Company Policies, State and Federal Regulations; must communicate courteously and respectfully with Residents, Employees and others
Qualifications:
Must have literacy skills at a level to read, write and understand Company Policies, State and Federal Healthcare Regulations and OSHA Regulations; prefer Housekeeping experience in a long-term care Facility; must be in good physical condition; must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check
Duties and Responsibilities:
Immediately cleans any spills or liquids on floor and places wet floor signs as needed
Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops, uses buffer / burnisher on all non-carpeted floors
Cleans soiled areas, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, empties trash cans, replaces liners, cleans other areas as needed
Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly stored
