Description for Internal Candidates
We have an opportunity for a Global Logistics Director to join us at Brady Corp, in our Ft. Mill, SC site.
This position will be dedicated to leading all Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) logistics activities which will include direct/indirect management of regional logistics personnel and 3PL warehousing teams to ensure flawless performance from order to delivery. Will drive improvements and productivity for logistics/warehousing aspects via major KPIs such as inbound/outbound logistics performance, cost, inventory, Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), annual physical inventory, safety compliance, on-time delivery.
Additional Details :
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline. 10 years of relevant and progressive logistics and integrated supply chain experience with manufacturing organizations of similar size and complexity. Experience in leading remote teams. Experience in collaborating in highly matrixed organizations. Broad and deep understanding of Transportation and Logistics economic and financial drivers. Excellent analytic and data skills in developing actionable KPIs and metrics around service and cost. Passion for customer, service and operational excellence. Lean qualification is an advantage.
