Enhanced Direct Support Professional (DSP) – NADD Certified or Bachelor's Degree Required
Pay: $23.00/hour starting wage
Increase: $1.50/hour raise after 6 months based on satisfactory performance
Position: Part-Time with potential for Full-Time after 6 months
Additional Benefits: Paid training and mileage reimbursement
Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Enhanced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral support needs in community and home-based settings.
Candidates must possess either:
- A current NADD Certification, or
- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, Human Services, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and community-based services.
- Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and increasing independence.
- Implement behavior support strategies and service plans.
- Complete required documentation and progress notes.
- Support community integration, daily living skills, and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members.
Requirements:
- NADD Certification or Bachelor's degree in a qualifying Human Services field.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to complete all required clearances and agency training.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.
