Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Installation Estimator to join our team. The Installation Estimator will play a crucial role in accurately estimating the costs and resources required for installation projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine scope of work and materials needed.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Evaluate sales reps site visits and assessments to gather necessary data for accurate estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales reps to understand project requirements and constraints.
Analyze vendor and subcontractor proposals to ensure competitive pricing.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Present estimates and proposals to sales represenatives in a clear and professional manner.
Participate in project kick-off meetings to ensure smooth transition from estimation to execution.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Quickbooks, estimating software and MS Office Suite.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
