Choose from a variety of openings and classroom environments to best match your experience and teaching style—ranging from a middle school life skills program and an elementary K-2 developmental classroom to a highly supportive behavioral health center for elementary students.
Available Assignments:
- Middle school life skills program (12 students, 4 instructional assistants; mix of behavioral and academic needs)
- Elementary K-2 developmental classroom (16 students, 5 instructional assistants; focus on basic skills, routines, some non-verbal students)
- Behavioral health center classrooms (Elementary 3rd-5th grade; 13 students, 4 instructional assistants; intensive behavior focus)
Qualifications:
- Holds a valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
- Previous experience in special education, preferably with varying caseloads (K-12)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction for a variety of learning and behavioral needs
- Team-oriented approach, comfortable collaborating with instructional assistants and related services providers

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to meet IEP goals
- Collaborate with support staff and instructional assistants to foster a positive, structured classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary

- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education laws and policies
