Responsibilities
- Assist with construction site setup, including organizing tools and materials for painting and finishing tasks
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer in accordance with safety regulations
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and conventional spray techniques on residential and commercial structures
- Perform structural painting tasks such as plastering, or restoration work while adhering to safety protocols
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation, fixture installation, or minor carpentry tasks like trim or frame carpentry
- Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment during all phases of work
- Assist with site cleanup and ensure all work areas are maintained in a safe, organized manner
Experience
- Prior experience in construction painting or related fields such as renovation or maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Hands-on experience with various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, construction spray painting
